reap, I do not like Mortgage reits, as I think they will be bagholders down the road. I like CEFs, open ends and actual bonds. On the CEF side, FCO has been a winner. On the open end side, BEGBX is a killer fund in a falling dollar environment. And on individual bonds, the shorter term Norwegian, Australian, NZ, and Canadian bonds have been strong and could get stronger. However, I am expecting some sort of bounce in the dollar, just because it has fallen so far so fast. Sort of like the move from 110 on the Euro to 106 a few weeks back. Won't last long, but it could hurt the margined.
