Thanks to gridlocke Gary and democrats, Boeing is slowly leaving Washington state. As to the lease.......she didn't have any choice. Any time Boeing can get work it is good. Did you see where Pat Hamilton switched parties the other day? wsrp.org Then of course there was that famous no vote by Murray and Cantwell to repeal the Clinton SS tax increase. Just when the citizens of our state need some extra help. They don't have the best interest of the people in mind at all. wsrp.org Don't be surprised to see Murray beat in 04. ;) M

Kenneth, It is getting harder all the time to sort out truth from fiction. When I first heard about the DoD lease deal on the Boeing 767s, it was posited that Sen. Tom Daschle's wife was a key instigator in this atrociously wasteful deal. Murray wasn't mentioned. Recently, some news item I ran across had Murray claiming that she wasn't sure who originally came up with the idea. Now she's claiming it as her own? Ay carumba. This is as funny as Sen. Gordon Smith's bifurcated campaign effort last fall in Oregon. In Portland, he ran ads describing his compassion and sympathy for gay rights. Out east of the Cascades, he was quiet as a church mouse on this hot-button issue, stressing family values to the rancher crowd. *********** Politics: "The art on telling everybody what they want to hear while fleecing 'em blind."
