(YellowTimes.org) – I don't know when it happened. But the evidence is so plain that it must have happened.
An unnoticed bipartisan act, signed by the President, declared Washington, D.C. to be an offshore possession under the sovereignty of the Cayman Islands. If American corporations can move off-shore, why not the seat of government which, after all, has become the largest private corporation in the world? Off-shore companies carry on their business without public disclosure. Like Enron, much of the business of the United States has also been conducted in secrecy.
In order to make certain that activities are shielded from the public, the Act even went one step further. In addition to giving D.C. off-shore status in Grand Cayman (acronym: W.C.), the Swiss government has been given oversight over the affairs, fiscal and otherwise, conducted by W.C. (acronym: W.C.S.). Cayman has not been a major player in international affairs for very long. Switzerland, however, has enjoyed international reputation for centuries. Certainly, no one can call into question the integrity, the wisdom, and the democratic institutions of the Swiss.
Everyone knows that the Swiss government is a paragon of democratic politics. They actually have participatory Canton meetings where citizens get to vote on issues of the day. How can one not trust a government of the people, by the people, and for the people? Having Swiss jurisdiction extend to the affairs of W.C. makes everyone realize that the highest sense of moral and ethical behavior surrounds every single transaction, fiscal and otherwise. Therefore, records can be kept secret because everyone knows the Swiss would not do anything that is not in keeping with the highest degree of fiduciary and legal responsibility. (The fact that Washington/Cayman is known as W.C. is coincidental with the fact that WC stands for water closet, otherwise known as the toilet.)
Switzerland has the most stringent privacy banking laws in the world. No one, not even God, can gain access to any data of any bank account in Switzerland. Granting Swiss jurisdiction over W.C. removes any scrutiny from what goes on in Washington. If you can't trust the Swiss to be aboveboard in all their dealings, whom can you trust? So, the people of the United States need not worry. Everything is in good hands. Every single citizen is protected from having anyone snoop into the affairs of its government. A double layer of safeguards is in place. Prying eyes can no longer have access to governmental affairs.
The protective laws of Cayman, as well as Switzerland, keep terrorists from ever gaining access to the activities of our government. Of course, the fact that American citizens are also prohibited from finding out the inner workings of our government is a small price to pay to keep the rotten, dirty, killing, deceitful foreign troublemakers at bay.
The rumors flying around that Swiss banks are used by unsavory characters to hide their financial transactions are just so much hot air. Whoever would suspect the Swiss of laundering money for members of the Mafia? How can anyone suspect the Swiss of allowing the Saddam family to hide billions of their stolen loot in Swiss banks? How can anyone accuse the Swiss of permitting Nazi Germany to store tons of stolen gold in the vaults of Swiss banks? After all, these are the good folks who make fine watches, yodel in Alpine meadows, and blow Alpenhorns advertising cough drops.
Americans must simply trust W.C.S. No question must be asked. How can anyone be so lacking in patriotism as to question the contractual agreement between the United States offshore government and corporations in which the Vice President of the United States has had, possibly still has, ties? Ask the Swiss. They are supervising all this. Oh, I did ask. However, I was told that their banking laws do not permit disclosure. As a patriot, I must blindly evidence my faith in W.C.S. by not asking any questions. Only terrorists would be interested in the inner machinations of W.C.S.!
The Act conferring Swiss banking immunity over W.C. business transactions was extended by Presidential Executive Order to any and all transactions of the government. Nothing that W.C.S. does can be questioned! The American people have double protection. Relocating the seat of government to an offshore jurisdiction removes the destructive snooping by unpatriotic citizens who just will not accept the fact that President Bush has the safety and welfare of all the American people at heart.
Surely, by invoking the protection of respected Swiss sovereignty over American interests, no right-thinking person can any longer be suspect of anything that is done in Washington. Anyone suspicious of the W.C.S. axis is declared a de facto terrorist. The integrity of the upright Swiss government should remove any question from anyone's mind that any and all decisions by W.C.S. meet the highest moral standards as promulgated by Orthodox Christian Fundamentalists.
What is it with these unpatriotic, socialistic ingrates who seek to call into the question the most honorable and noblest motives of our government?
Do they not know that construction to rebuild schools and hospitals in Iraq is of such a sensitive nature that building contracts cannot be opened for competitive bidding? Do they not know that to protect the American people from terrorism, we have to maintain absolute silence about the activities provided by our rulers? Contracts must be let and important international affairs must be conducted in secret in order to protect the safety and security of the American public. After all, there are terrorists all around us.
We cannot be worried about competitive bidding when such trustworthy corporate giants, formerly controlled by the present Vice President of the United States, are at our disposal to promote and further the well being and social welfare of the United States. No questions can be asked about the dollar amount, health and safety provisions for construction workers, tax obligations, or any other issue. Swiss immunity precludes any public disclosure of any kind.
Transferring power of the government to W.C.S. makes certain that the peace and tranquility of our people will not be disturbed by pesky people. Why would any patriot desire a detailed investigation of the events surrounding 9/11? Do these detractors of American freedom, decency, and religious devotion not know that Saddam was responsible for this dastardly attack? The fact that no Iraqi was part of the scum gang blasting the Twin Towers is just more evidence that Saddam was behind it all and is just seeking to divert attention from himself.
If you can't trust W.C., surely the third member of the axis provides assurance that all is well. The Swiss always speak the truth in love.
Transferring the seat of government puts to rest any questions about weapons of mass destruction in Iraqi hands. The fact that none have been found so far is only indicative of the stealth, the deceit, and the trickery of the Archfiend of the Axis of Evil. Even before the creation of W.C.S., Washington gave the location of WMD to the U.N. team of inspectors. Hans Blix probably found them and removed them to sites that cannot be located. The American people just do not know that terrorism lurks everywhere and, in order to protect our way of life, we cannot have everyone snooping around.
Quite coincidentally, Guantanamo Bay has also been transferred to W.C.S. Too many meddling people have been sticking their noses into the affairs at that site. For instance, Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien last September tried to obtain consular access to a 15-year-old Canadian-born youth reportedly captured on July 27, 2002, after being seriously wounded. He was told to keep his cotton-picking nose out of W.C.S. affairs.
These pesky, un-'Mercian, busy-bodies from Amnesty International point out that the U.S. government at Guantanamo is breaching the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: "Every child deprived of his or her liberty shall have the right to prompt access to legal and other appropriate assistance." The United States has never ratified that treaty. But, just to make sure that these meddlers know the substance of the issue, they are hereby notified that they have no right to question any actions by the W.C.S. entity. Under the law, it is off-limits to mess around with private corporate matters.
Inasmuch as the democratic process of open debate, independent journalistic investigation, and a viable opposition party are all detrimental to the welfare and the safety of our beloved land under God, the decision creating W.C.S. was the only safe and intelligent step to take.
Of course, the physical city is still where it has always been. The Washington and Jefferson monuments are still standing. Arlington Cemetery, holding bodies of those who died for the sake of freedom, still has an honor guard. The duly elected people's representatives still have their offices where they have always been. The President still occupies the White House.
No prying eyes, no inquiring minds, no independent investigation must ever violate the God-given 11th commandment, "Thou shalt impose Pax Americana on the entire world. Everybody keep their damn mouth shut about the processes used to achieve this end. Thus sayeth the Lord."
We are living in a day when honored, cherished, and fundamental precepts insuring Constitutional government are being shunted aside left and right. For instance, the separation of Church and State, a cornerstone to prevent clerical dogmatism from imposing its doctrines on those who disagree with a lifestyle based on ancient myths, has been replaced with faith-based initiatives. The present administration is relying upon the advice of the likes of Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell far more than the principle of separation of church and state. It is also basic to our understanding of freedom to have a clear line of demarcation between military and civilian leadership. While the President is C.I.C. of the Armed Forces, he should never wear an Armed Forces uniform. When the President had his recent photo-op aboard the carrier Abraham Lincoln he, for all practical purposes, took on the persona of a soldier.
When these and other foundations of Constitutional government are being eliminated, why should we be surprised at the transfer of our government to W.C.S.? |
