I can think of a half a dozen threads on SI that have been severely disrupted by personal attacks. Some of these threads were so decimated by such attacks that posters who had been relentlessly attacked left SI never to return and the threads dried up and died.

I'm sure you could post on just a few threads and not encounter such problems, Jon, but that doesn't mean they haven't been occurring.

I don't know what your "little Hitlers" reference is about and I don't think I want to know. I suggest you choose your words more carefully.

Those that have less are run by little Hitlers.

The phrase "little Hitlers" is probably politically incorrect. The often quoted phrase for expressing that thought is "little Napoleon", though that too, is likely politically incorrect. It's more like to what degree of politically incorrect does one wish to sink to... <g>
