The Moral Authority of the United Nations "We've been sending messages every day to [the UN headquarters in] New York [saying] this was going to happen, that we need more troops. Nothing was done." Annan has repeatedly highlighted the Congo situation and has asked the UNSC to deal with it. un.org But certain UNSC members are preoccupied with certain other problems currently. Would you like Annan to assume command of US Forces for another unilateral, preemptive operation -g- ?
