Josh Marshall draws the net around Tom DeLay ever tighter.

I sounds like Delay was pissed about the Texas Dems bugout and tried to help the Texas Repubs get them. He may have used Fed help and lied about it.

If so, I don't think you will see much happen out of it. When one party controls the Gov, things like this tend to go away.

Some weekend comments. I am coming up on the end of the first month of this thread, and am very happy with it so far. We don't have a lot of posters, but let's face it, the elections are a long way off. But, 64 bookmarks, so a few folks are reading it!

I thought about our debate on Education, John, and I think getting into numbers would be a waste of time. We would just dispute each other's sources. I know that the Judge in the Kansas City case made Missouri spend a fortune on the district he took over, and the results were poor. DC results, when you look at the money, speak for themselves. So we will continue just to needle each other, I guess.

I will continue to just post excerpts from THE NOTE, most of it is of no interest. Same with some other articles. I have been reading SALON, and boy, is it Liberal!

Jump in, everybody!
