What is it then?Its not a ringing endorsement of Bush 2004 is it?


Let me encourage you to consider other ways of thinking than the presently popular binary one. It's entirely possible, in fact, much preferable, to think of policy alternatives along a continuum. And in which each point of the continuum is debatable on policy grounds, not political ones. It's important to separate good policy from good politics; the two are only sometimes the same.

As for the economic wisdom of the tax cuts, we are clearly not in agreement here but if you wish to argue with Krugman's policy argument you need to find the counter economic arguments; not simply note that he did not favor Bush.
