As a place to put all of the dollars they are accumulating on behalf of their FX interventions intended to support the dollar and weaken the Yen (buying dollars). two thoughts: 1. they are sticking their finger in the dike as it overflows 2) who the hell wants to buy a depreciating asset? one day, I don't know when, this trend will reverse and there will be a mad dash for the door. the way the dollar is falling, it may not take that long.
