No, I was actually going way back to when the murricans figured out that targeting the most splendid and visible uniforms of the british army was something one should not do, but worked really well. Much later on came the idea that even great officers should wear less visible garments, although still, if possible, portrayed on great white horses and the same splendid uniforms for the domestic pavlovians. Ilmarinen yes, sad about thos ukranian soldiers who had little chance in the snow, so sad that it was only some years ago that the connections were made to give their dead heroes at a minimum some little, symbolic but official burial sign and a page in history books.
