Bob, to clarify, it sounds like it was dumped in your lap with little or no documentation, and little or no continuity of personnel who had been responsible for maintaining the code and equipment. I envision a bunch of servers piled-up in the middle of your living room. :) It's not a task I envy.

Message board success not much to do w/ programming Having or not having bells and whistles is not what people gripe about most on message boards. I feel that most concerns are spam, obscenity, speed, pop up ads and personal attacks. One bell we do need back is search. Only a few hits show up, something is wrong. That was the one feature that made si stand out above the rest. You could even pull up si posts through google. You should make sure it stays that way for your own self interest. That's how I found si originally. You do need to tell people that investors hub bought silicon investor. Do a press release and send everyone here a message. People need to know for many reasons. It would be the honest thing to do. You only posted it on one thread. I had to tell people and they though I was joking. I believe you're not doing it because you're afraid people will leave, stop posting, ask that all their personal information be destroyed. With Matts biz partner and financier being a stock hypester, his relationship with goelo, your working for stock hypesters at ihub, a lot of people would not want to be involved.
