You make me laugh!

No-one convinced me about anything. My opinion is the result of my own observations and logic. In fact, hanging around on gold forums and debating the subject with numerous people including some of the big "names", as I have for the past eight years, if I haven't become a goldbug yet, I never will.

You are quite wrong. I held many gold shares from Jan 2001 to March 2003 and did quite well from them, thank you very much. In fact, I am very interested in gold as a medium of investment/speculation and have been for many years. And, I continue to be.

> So get rid of those paper obligations of questionable (and declining) value - and go get some stuff!

In the end, the value of the "stuff" is measured against the paper, so one can't really escape. But I agree with you, I am waiting on the sidelines, with some dry powder (AKA paper, fiat, crap), ready to shoot when the opportunity appears.

Again you are wrong. We ARE like you Americans. In fact, everything we know we learned at your feet.
