"Karat" is purity. It is a fraction of 24 to indicate gold contained by weight. "Karat weight and purity" My word. I love these mainstream journalists. They breed them stupid so they will write up any pap handed to them. That 500 million dollars in gold is mine. I put my karat weight stamp on it. I doubt that they will return it to me now. Now that the States is in their little illegitimate country, they will find fault with anything that doesn't say <font color=slategray>Made in the USA</font> or <font color=slategray>Property of the US Government</font>.
