But as I understand it, you are suggesting a different scenario. Where the creditor is screwed via default rather than inflation. I guess it doesn't matter either way. The debtor 'wins' in either case.

Seems to me that the ratio charts show the relative money flow between the two diametrically opposed sectors (tech vs gold) has changed - and not favorably for the goldbugs. This 'fact' is not clear when viewing the chart for a single sector.
