There are no pacifists among the Dem contenders and precious few in the country as a whole. No? They been against war ever since McGovern. They have opposed every war we have been in since then. Panama, Grenada, Gulf I, Iraq. They went along with the Balkans because it was not a war but a "Peacekeeping" mission. If it walks like a duck....... The binary character of that argument won't get you much. The Bush I folk opposed any action in the Balkans; took the Dems to do that. As for Panama and Grenada, I gather you are reaching for humor of the highest order to call those wars. So that leaves us with Gulf I and II. The Dems were split on both those; less so on II. I wondered if SI was going to be out all weekend! I gather you say SI Bob's comments that he can't even get to the hardware. Promised severe actions if the slowdowns continued. On the other hand, I've had more sluggishness since the purchase.
