Frankly, it makes no difference to me whether you're a Clinton supporter or not. What you clearly are not is psychic, and you are dead flat wrong to assume that Republicans, conservatives, supporters of Bush, or just folks who detested Clinton, would have the same attitude about Clinton doing what Bush has done as Democrats, liberals, supporters of Clinton, or just folks who detest Bush have about Bush doing it. That was the entire point of my response. It seems not to have registered with you. It's a significant enough distinction that I think as a new participant in the American political process you'd be wise to give it a little thought, because you clearly don't understand it or the reason behind it.

Saddam Hussein was the issue as far as I'm concerned, not who got rid of him, or why they said they were doing it. There were enough good reasons to get rid of him that I am not especially disconcerted that one or two do not seem to be validated thus far in the eyes of people who didn't want to get rid of him in the first place. I'm not pissed about that at all. Not even slightly.

If Clinton had done what Bush has done, I would have supported it. I wouldn't have been screaming blue bloody murder just because I couldn't stand Clinton. I still wouldn't have liked Clinton, but I would certainly have to respect the fact that he was doing what I felt was the right thing to do.

And yes, that's America. We can think that way too.
