ROFL... you don't get it, do you?

But you cited a stock and specifically said that it was benefiting from Wi-Fi.

Ostensibly referring to my "Quick, someone better tell Cisco. LOL... the technology is moving off the shelves at a kick-a$$ pace" ?

I "specifically" claimed the stock was benefiting??? Again, where?

Dollar emphasis 'a$$' is yours.

ROFL... your rea$oning can be $o $hallow $ometimes... if you'd been participating in thi$ community for any period of time you know that there are a few tender $oul$ who object to the word A$$ when it is $pelled with S's in$tead of $'s.

Again, the i$$ue is one of comprehen$ion. Maybe go back and figure out what I was $aying and try a le$$ $impli$tic non-$equitor than: If Cisco is reaping massive revenue from Wi-Fi how come their stock is in the toilet? Does not really add up.

What doesn't add up is the implicit premise that revenue translates to stock price. Which is yours.

Or that strong technology implies a strong stock price. Again, yours not mine.

Other factors come into play. Like gettin' caught cookin' the books ;) or evaporating profits out one door on boondoggles as fast as they come in from the other... for example.

Do you really expect stock price and revenue to add up? Surely you know better than that.

As far as home networking equipment moving of the shelves? It is really moving. And as far as profitable? Come on, it's way less expensive technology than gets packed into a cell-phone. Skip the battery, skip the LCD screen, skip the keypad, skip the rugged packaging and forget about ultra-miniaturization and assembly... not to mention it's a way less complex radio... And yet it sells for more. Crack one open next time and do a quick component costing estimate. Margins galore.

If you are going to try to insult me in comparison to wet behind the ears 20-something Harvard know-it-alls, at least don't be so lame about it.
