Here's an earnings release that, I hope, doesn't go unnoticed:

CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 26, 2003--NCE Petrofund (AMEX:NCN - News; TSX:NCF.UN - News) announces its first quarter 2003 results.
Noteworthy points include:

a 14% increase in production to 26,927 boepd
a 215% increase in cash flow to $58.6 million or $1.08 per unit
a 12% increase in distributions paid to $0.48 per unit (44% of cash flow)
a total of $29.7 million in acquisition and development activities
the announcement of internalization of management (since completed)

Net income $32,176 March '03 vs. $903 March '02

excar, with all due respects buddy, who cares about the laggards?!!

My two current favorite E&P stocks have doubled since Jan 1, KCS and TMR. Sure, each has run up recently, but each has plenty more to go before they sleep.

BTW that's a great list.

Also BTW, have you ever looked at Mission Resources (MSSN)? That's another overlevered burn-out that is getting a new lease on life from these high commodity prices, that I've been buying some here & there. With debt making up about 90% of their enterprise value they have immense leverage to exploration upside.
