The US has a responsibility in the world. The Iraqi situation is leading directly to attempted peaceful resolutions elsewhere in the world "Ms. Leftwing nutcase". nearly 80% of the US supported the military action. live with it or leave.

What are you saying? Federal taxes are the same in every state. No matter who's in the White House, there are lots of people who don't like how their money is spent. Sorry, but you don't get to pick and choose where your tax dollars go. We vote in elected representatives and if we don't like what they do, we vote them out. How would you change things so that individual's tax dollars only go to that individual's favorite things and we still have a workable government?

Lizzie you GOTTA BE A BLONDE. I presume from your post you are saying the liberal Northern States like NY and the land of fruits and nuts, Ca. have more income thus pay more taxes. What you are leaving out is: 1. Most of those Liberal states have been virtually bankrupt for years and are a huge drain on the Fed'l treasury drawing BACK more then their proportionate share do to their economic problems and inability to tax their populance anymore. 2. Some of the Southern states are far wealthier and pay more taxes to the Fed'l treasury then you might suppose. Fla., Texas, N.C. come to mind immediately. jdn
