Based on how quite a few 'management types' have behaved over the past few years, I'd bet many are sympathetic to the unions these days. Hard to feel sorry for these guys when they ask the rank and file for huge pay cuts while giving themselves multi-million dollar 'retention bonuses' and putting THEIR pension dollars in trusts (ala American Airlines) so if the firm goes bust they are golden... Nice article in the NY Times last week about how the Bristol Myers CEO got a fat option bonus based on results that now appear to be 'manufactured', and he has not given the dollars back....
