You mean like send a private message to each member (like when site maintenance or upgrades are being done)? Hmmm. Interesting.

Why wasn't a message sent out to all the community members? Why was this transfer communicated via word of mouth? I'd think the community would be interested in knowing about new ownership. Why just gloss it over and not let everyone know in a timely manner?

SI is probably WAY under the radar for an 8K disclosure.

A guess, but I suspect the story is from 0 to $35M to billions, and back to darn near where it started.

Not slinging mud at SI - just a commentary on the stock market bubble, which I'm pretty sure I can still hear hissing...
