Correct. It's no different on iHub except that we would also be able to provide the user's purported email address and name.

When dealing with the SEC earlier on a subpoena on iHub, this was discussed with the attorney, and my suspicions were confirmed that the IP info is all they want anyway. Nothing else has any reliability.

Matt and I both are very subpoena-unfriendly. I've witnessed them being misused many times. For instance, the one that was used to get the personal info of TruthSeeker and others, only to publish it so they'd be harassed.

Even with the SEC subpoena, we gave everyone a chance to quash.

Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know, that subpoena-unfriendliness is a double-edged sword. Yes, it helps afford some SLAPP protection, but it's just as protective as real crims.

I'm the way I am about personal info because I have seen far more SLAPP suits and see them as a greater evil.
