>>The positive image is particularly striking among the children and grandchildren of baby boomers<< I was a bit surprised and proud of my 16 year old son on Memorial day.He asked to go to the Memorial Day parade with Mom and Dad....he made sure to grab his own little flag...and he clapped and showed respect to all members of the Armed Forces as they marched by...even the old WWII duffers....This would have been very very uncool in my day. Now if I can just help steer him through the minefield of college Sociology courses he should turn out just fine.;-)
