Well, iHub's search is incomplete in this regard, but SI and iHub's searches will develop along the same lines. Specifically, there is an "advanced" search mode on iHub that, if you know your SQL, you can do some pretty cool stuff in searches by prefacing them with a "|". It's not documented outside of a few posts I've written on how to do it. That's because the advanced version, as it is now, is only useful to geeks.

Both sites will get advanced searches that let you easily put together search criteria with AND's, OR's, NOT's, etc. It exists on iHub now, but you gotta know your stuff to do it.
