Now he has time to work on his next book, hopefully an inside look at the Times newsroom.. Looks like a lot of them were "manufacturing" bylines from the combined resources available. The "on the plane and off it" routine on the National desk would encourage that type of behavior. Kind of like the "60 Minutes" talking heads, where you are giving the impression they did they story that was really done by the staff. I am sure this is not the end of it. The question is, when they discover the true extent of the problem, will they just stop and say, "we can't afford to wash our dirty linen in public!" And, as I posted earlier, if they do take this tack, how much will leak. I just reserved Braggs memoir on growing up in Alabama.
