(Doesn't seem to have had any lasting impact on their US military contracting business, though, Lockheed won the advanced next-gen fighter contract, worth some $300 to $500 Billion to them over the next 25 years....) As far as direct Chinese government cash infusion into American politics (just as the US has so often illegally influenced foreign elections with cash... including - reputedly - the last Russian election), recent news items have revealed that the Chinese government gave money to BOTH major American political parties, Democrat and Republican, in violation of American election laws.
