...anyone who claims to have been a liberal and who has then become a person with such right wing distasteful leanings can't have more than gelatin as base dogma. Two things happened: 1) I grew up and realized that the world is a tough place and weak liberals are at risk; and 2) The meaning of liberal changes, such that it has not one shred of attraction to offset the damage liberalism does to our nation and thus makes liberalism not even worthy of consideration.
