Good point...there's a major disconnect going on in tech land, and it's gonna get resolved, either with (much) higher earnings or (much) lower equity prices. I'm looking to get shorter on tech in the next 2-3 weeks.

Disclosure: SHORT a few shares of KLAC, approximately 1% of total portfolio weighting, and no other tech holding presently.

U.S., Semiconductor Industry Strike Deal on Data

WASHINGTON, May 27 (Reuters) - The U.S. government and the semiconductor industry have reached an agreement to reintroduce data that have been missing from federal economic reports for over a year, U.S. and industry officials said on Tuesday.

The government will begin providing figures on shipments by semiconductor firms with a report on July durable goods orders that is set for release on August 26, Commerce Under Secretary Kathleen Cooper said in an interview.
