KG4, IMO NXTL currently enjoys a great niche. If competition does grow & a price war starts then you should probably re-examine NXTL as an investment. I'm not saying NXTL can't or won't survive, only a re-evaluation will become necessary if & when the competitive landscape changes. FWIW, the only wireless carrier I still hold is VOD.

From Briefing.com - MOT and NXTL relationship may be on the rocks -- WSJ : The Wall Street Journal's "Heard on the Street" column discusses concerns over the interests of MOT and NXTL's relationship possibly "diverging". The article suggests it could possibly have an effect on both stocks with NXTL possibly facing competition from MOT with its new technology and MOT possibly losing high margin business from its biggest customer. MOT is expected to provide phones soon to VZ and VOD equipped with a "walkie-talkie" style feature, which will compete with NXTL's "push-to-talk" technology.
