Are you talking in a general sense, or for this point in time, when the landslide already got underway?

Especially since the credibility of the Fed and pretty much all state financial institutions is a joke, especially after Snow's recent redefinition of "strong dollar" as one difficult to counterfeit...

I would agree with you for the latter. However, in general, Fed has quite a few instruments through which it can play with the value of the USD, as I am sure you know better than I do.
