On a number of other debate subjects that he has been involved with I am for his position. For example his call for a deeper study of the number of species lost each year. On the Skeptical Environmentalist I find that his book is not scientific but provocative(as he says himself). As for his credentials, he is not educated as a statistician, but as a political scientist.
