I don't remember the whys at this point... but if i recall there was a nasty thing that was agreed: if the merger failed, gnet had to pay insp a huge chunk of money for the trouble.

either way gnet lost from the small shareholder's perspective.

but probably its best to celebrate the new SI and I'm glad to see its in good hands.
