With Saddam gone, and rewards worthy of King Midas for just a simple tipoff, there is no reason to think that WMDs are not being found because they are in a secret hole somewhere. Besides, Powell indicated that they could be fired within minutes. There are plenty of indications that Powell lied, from the term papers he cribbed for evidence to the falsified reports of nigerian uranium. The only thing that is not clear is whether Powell was duped like the American people, or if he was told to get with the program or get out and decided he liked the office too much to tell the truth.
