If I were you I'd be really worrying about that multi-Trillion $$$ deficit your country is accumulating. You and your kids are going to be paying for it! Govt. could always raise your taxes or expropriate your property to pay for it.

Ari Fleischer responded to Cretien's criticism that the deficit was because "US was attacked and Canada wasn't". He assumes our govts. revenue wasn't affected either by 9/11. Yes it was, but we still maintain surpluses. He didn't mention the 1.2 Trillion $$$ tax cuts in 2001, nor the $350B tax cut as factors at all! Bush is an irresponsible populist, who only gets his popularity through the most simple-minded "solutions" - cut taxes or send in the army. These are quick fixes that don't take much thought and garner a lot of support from the reactionary segments of the population.
