You can use it there if you just spray it on plants, pouring it on sandy ground is a no no. Go for a little common sense on this one.

Pretty harmless to fish. Used for weed control in ponds. But Roundup has a surfactant (wetting agent like detergent) it which limits the use per pond-acre.
Without the surfactant, you can use 1000 times as much (which is a whole lot) with no effect on the fish
