At least Clinton was a brilliant man. I find intelligence, and competency in office to be much more important than lies about sexual issues. Lies that relate TO the office, and to the management of our country, disturb me greatly, lies about peckerdillos- not nearly so disturbing- although I have to say I think men and women make a grave mistake in following their genitals about- but I'm not sure I really care all that much. I care about the economy, and my freedom, and the freedom of the other men and women and children in this country- Bush, imo, endangers us all (and endangers our liberty) with his apparent disregard for truth, justice and the constitution. I wouldn't care if he was untruthful and unjust personally, about his personal issues, and I wouldn't care if he personally didn't respect the constitution (although he did swear an oath to uphold it)- but I DO care if he lies about national security, domestic issues, and foreign policy. That's really reprehensible.

They are both two-bit, penny ante, self-serving
demagogues who seized on the lack of decent characters in American
politics to grab the White House, courtesy of the gullibility of the American
public.

The fact is, that in today's political climate it is impossible for a decent, honorable person to be elected President.

We have created, and accept, a system where knavishness and dishonesty are essential to becoming elected. So why be surprised that that's what we get, whatever party they belong to?

At least Clinton's lying did not result in deaths, dismemberment and despair of the people of Iraq, like Bush's did, for the sake of.. what?... ego, avarice, you name it..

Clinton's lying involved his own PERSONAL life, his consenting partner's PERSONAL life and his family's view toward such...Probably less than TEN in ALL. If a person does not get that, they never will get anything.

Bush's lying involved hundreds of millions, maybe billions as the world is put into such a state of anxiety.. PLUS THOUSANDS suffered direct irreparable HARM through the ULTIMATE tragedy of WAR..

When they both have to answer to the great Karma wo(man), who will be okay ?.. I know.. If a person does not know that, they are in trouble themselves...

Dale, I disagree completely, and think you are completely wrong about Clinton.
