THE MIGHTY WURLITZER

Thomas,

In the late 1970's, Senator Frank Church asked the then head of the C.I.A. to provide the names of C.I.A. operatives who were planted in the U.S. corporate media. The chief declined, but was forced to provide information to the extent of providing brief resumes of agents. He stopped after about 400 such resumes were provided to Congress.
