...could also be a matter of biting off more than I can currently chew. Maybe in a few months...

Timing is everything, not just from your point of view, but theirs as well. Worst case and you own it and do nothing with it, it withers and dies anyhow. Win-win!

Bob,

At this point it could also be a matter of biting off more than I can currently chew.

You may be right. As I see it, the only thing of any value over there is the subscriber base, and maybe some of the posting history. Beyond that, not worth much more than the price of used hardware... <g>

If RB were to fold, those people would go somewhere else, with the likely choices being IHUB or SI or Yahoo! or AOL or Motley Fool. And MF and Yahoo! don't permit OTCBB stocks, so you already have 2 of the remaining 3 choices... (I doubt that Stockhouse would get much of anything beyond a few Canadian stock watchers.)

It (the RB unit) will be had much more cheaply if you let Telefonica soak $2 billion into Terra/Lycos at the present moment (a deal effusive of many guffaws). Further down the road, Telefonica will figure out what they really bought and have a component fire sale. You can offer $99.95 for RB, but let them negotiate you up a nickel for its true value. It would be the sporting thing to do.
