In the days when a site's value was measured in CPMs and click-through rates, yes, SI's get-tough policy and steady flow of outcasts certainly raised the value of RB. As a pure message board, it's trash, both from the level of intelligence over there to the (lack of) aesthetics. That's why I've only posted 11 times on RB in the last year, and only 695 times since late 1998 when I joined. That being said, what makes it a cesspool also makes it somewhat entertaining... although I do admit I follow very few threads there. In any case, if it disappeared altogether I certainly wouldn't miss it. - Jeff
