I can't argue with your stand on perjury but I am still amazed that the American people are quite happy to be lied too when a President steps up to any podium to address them, whether he is under oath at the time or not.

Washington has a standard that some lies are OK (sometimes many lies if it suits their purposes). One side says it's OK to lie about sex but not war, the other side says the opposite, blah blah blah.

If we ever held them all to the same standard as perjury in the courtroom, we might get.....heaven forbid.....honest government.

Probably an oxymoron. I will go back to my dreamlike state now.
