It's my understanding that LNG is a long term solution. Short term, the facilities just aren't there. I suspect 10$ gas this winter (all winter) and next year may provide the impetus for a lot of other solutions. A lot of things have been predicated on cheap gas, not the least of which is electricity generation. NOX emissions are a big deal right now, but may be relaxed in the future. Hopefully, when that day comes, we'll have moved on to other asset classes. CD
