<< do you have thoughts on why this place has gone dead? >>

A couple ..

It's not just this thread .. it's SI in general ..
most of the 'banter' is on non-stock market related threads ..

The folks that are left have developed their
own trading style and don't feel the need to
post their trades/thoughts in real time ..

Speaking for myself, I've always been reluctant
to post my actual trades .. I don't like the idea
of influencing other folks trades .. especially if
what I posted didn't work out .. and if my posted trades
are profitable .. I'm not looking for positive
re-enforcement from other threaders nor am I trying to
establish a public trading track-record or seeking
'guru' status .. therefore not much incentive to 'post'
other than general market comments or 'banter'

Perhaps others feel the same ???

The only things that I can think of in addition to your comments are market burn out, message board burn out, and maybe even people taking vacations. SI in general is dead, except for the occasional barrage of garbage from bashers on certain stock specific threads. lol
