The Samsung SGH-i500 sounds like what I'm waiting for.
Any idea how long before VZ qualifies it for sale.

Also it seems like it's very tedious to get to actually using an app. Maybe it just seemed that way to me since I wasn't at 1X speed when VZ led me to beleive I would be.

Why don't the phones come pre configured/initialized and all that sort of stuff. So I can just go to a menu and select what I want to use and have it downloaded automatically/immediately and start using it.

I am interested in the SPG-i500 model too but dont really have a need for the camera nor couple other features. Like the PalmOS5 tho. I am not sure paying $600-$800 for such a phone is really productive either.

I would be interested in any thoughts on the Blackberry and its push technology. For my business, the email alert and always on tech is most important.

Thanks!
