We can see that what you say is true, but some can't, for whatever their reasons. It's always "stop the occupation and everything will be hunky dory", without recognizing what the impediments to a real resolution are. If HAMAS and their ilk disappeared tomorrow, a Palestinian state would be much closer to being a reality. When HAMAS publicly declares their rejection of the roadmap on the grounds that it is a "conspiracy to liquidate the Palestinian struggle and cause", you have to ask then - what is their conception of the "Palestinian cause and struggle" if it isn't the peaceful establishment of a Palestinian state next to Israel by 2005.
