In this endeavour he enjoyed much success, though Iraqi defectors helped the inspectors to uncover, among other things, the extent of Iraq’s biological weapons programme, and its manufacture of VX, a nerve gas. Not mentioned, is that this very same defector claimed that the program was ended and all existing weapons and evidence destroyed. Nobody disputes that Iraq had an unconventional weapons program once, but there was absolutely no evidence that they still had one when Junior attacked. TP
