"hang up and drive".

I saw that one a few times.

There was a funny variation that I forget.
Hopefully when you see it, you will tell me what it is.

I saw a new dude on the block walking his dog two days
ago. He was talking to his dog. Having a long
conversation with him.

I thought it was odd.

Sounded like he was talking business.
Not dog business. People business.

About some sort of deal where his opponent was playing
hardball.

I thought it was very strange that he was telling all this
stuff to his dog.

I stared at his dog.

In the back of my mind I thought perhaps the dog would
reply. Sorta like the talking horse in the barroom joke.

The dog just stared at me.

I smiled. Then I looked up. That was when I realized the
dude had his cell phone attached to the hip of his dog walking
pants and a little wire ran up to his hidden hear with a
tiny microphone attached.

The dude actually uses the ear piece when not in the car.

Nerd.

So he gives me a quick Yuppy nod and continues on his way
as if everything is normal.

The dog had a bumper sticker on his ass that read,
"Hang up and Walk!"

It tickled my funny bone.
I laughed out loud.

The dude probably figured I was laughing at the guy on my
phone...
