Yes, I think the states will force the issue for net sales taxes, in fact they have no choice, they need the revenue.

Don't get me wrong with Amazon, I buy from them all the time, but AMZN isn't worth $35.55 a share...
It's just a matter of what will cause, & when, the upmove to break.

Also, I played it short not long ago and did ok>

Well, I took the advice of Barron's from Saturday and picked up some puts in AMZN, which looked the worst of the three that they had targeted as vastly overvalued on their cover this week.
The AMZN April 25's are up large today. (275%)
I got lucky.
As you know, I usually like to play expiration week anyway, this is where the big moves in the options happen very fast..

AMZN is starting to crack>

Amazon.com cut to Sell at Legg Mason (AMZN) 35.40: Legg Mason downgrades to Sell from Hold based on valuation; shares now trade at 49x their 2004 untaxed cash EPS est of $0.73, and firm believes that current investor optimism fully captures potential returns over the next 12 months.

Next thing to think about on the dark side are the home improvemnet related retailers, like LOW & HD...
My thinking is simple, home sales are slowing, and that also means valuations will not be going up like they were, and that means less refi money to buy dodads for the home...
Another bubble about to be pin-pricked?
