Agreed...techs are moving, but they always move higher and lower then the plain jane other stocks. I still think to be diversified, one must at least have a few good quality names, other then techs. I hold mostly tech, but do have a bunch of regular crap via mutual funds and some individual stocks such as WMT, HD, KKD, HDI, AAII. Boring, but good quality, fairly safe, good numbers and growth and etc, etc....But, now I need a tech to put my NXTL ( sold yesterday) money to work. Am thinking the safe big boys such as dell, msft, csco, qcom....but am also debating the beaten down old high fliers that are still beaten down.....wondering if stocks like jdsu, nt, lu and alot of other sub $5 stocks, have a chance of making moves back above $10, and debating whteher I should be safe and buy a "safe" tech, such as dell, msft, csco and etc, or do I gamble and go for a cheaper stock that may come back and have chance for higher % gains before this rally dies......Opinions? Go safe, or anybody have a cheap tech, beaten down, that has good chance of coming back?
