David,

re:I think the real mistake the administration made was in not framing the WMD issue properly in the first place; now, the whole world is set to pile on if WMD are not ultimately found.

The UN started this by claiming Iraq had not accounted for weapons. The USA followed up with action. It just boggles my mind that we know have to listen to the beginnings of a Saddam was the "victim" story?

Clinton set the USA's regime change course - that was a good idea, it just took Bush to achieve his goal.

I think the real mistake the administration made was in not framing the WMD issue properly in the first place; now, the whole world is set to pile on if WMD are not ultimately found. The discussion should have been framed around the known facts, that is, that Saddam had 2,000,000 lbs of chemical agent that he was required to destroy under the terms of the ceasefire, he didn't comply, and therefore, regardless of where the WMD are, Saddam
was in violation. It is a simple, factual, irrefutable argument, and certainly justified our action in Iraq.

What are you dense? The man said publicly that WMD were a ruse...We have lost 200 soldiers and will lose many more before it's over. Not to mention the many innocent Iraqis that have been killed. Their blood is on bush's hands. May the God whose teachings he claims to follow forgive him, for he is not only a murderer, but he is a premeditated one.
