Russ,
You are a very wise market observor and I trust your judgment. I guess I am one of the wild eyed gold buggie people described on SDII though as I believe we will once again have our day in the sun. This year, next year or so as long as we can turn a buck in between I can wait. Selection is important and between you and Claude and others I will follow a decent path to success.
Tom

"Be cautious of the PP underwriter as well."

That is great advice. I think the juniors really need some help in dealing with the investment bankers/brokerages/venture capitalists.

What could be future shareholder value has been flowing to these sharks, as they are far more sophisticated than the management of the miners seeking financing.

I convinced a friend to let me listen in on a conversation I asked him to have with his Cannacord rep after he had taken a piece of an NGT.V (now AGI.V) financing from them.

He was in for warrants and shares at the .45 mark if I remember correctly. I told him to dump all the shares when it ran to .75. The rep told him not to sell as it may tank the stock. She also told him that they could not place a stop loss order for him, as they would have watch the stock minute by minute for him specifically.

I showed him all the selling Cannacord was doing at the time on the TSX site, and he got out at .70, after they filled a ton more of their own sells at a higher price. Next thing you know the stock is under .30. I figured Cannacord was shorting the common to load the warrants. I hope they are stuck with them.

I watched them do the same thing with the Golden Star financing too.

Management of most of the canuck juniors would do well to read this thread, and they would do even better to figure out how to deliver some shareholder value before most become extinct.
