James > Our government may have problems, but there is NO other place I want to live.

You are very lucky. I hope it continues.

> You have a lot of balls to pick apart the good old US of A on a regular basis when you live in a country that is still in the black ages.

I like your idea of the black ages. In fact, we have only just entered them and largely as result of US interference on our politics.

Referring to the US, everything I say is substantiated by references on the internet from Americans themselves. I suck nothing out of my thumb. And, everything I criticize is something which affects me personally, like the US interference in the affairs of other nations or the printing of money. In fact, I am the first to say that I don't live in the US and therefore I don't have personal knowledge of what is going on in any neighbourhood. But US financial policy and US foreign policy is quite another matter.

Nevertheless, even though we in Africa still live in trees and eat each other a few have actually learned to read, write and listen to TV. We have also learned history and geography so some of us actually know where America is, which I believe is more than most Americans can say about Africa.

> Nothing good ever comes out of S.A. except the minerals in the ground. You can have it!

Thanks. All the same, I'm glad you found something here you liked.

> Some of you guys need to get a history lesson on what Americans have sacrificed to keep this land free of tyranny.

It didn't happen in the last "election" when your present President was appointed by vote rigging etc. In fact, come to think about it, the way your President appointed himself isn't very different from the way Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe appointed himself.

> There are still enough of us around to see that we remain one country, undivided, with liberty and justice for all!

I'm glad to hear that.

Some of you guys need to get a history lesson on what Americans have sacrificed to keep this land free of tyranny.

Give me a break.... USA does in ever other country: what they accuse every other country of doing.

Bringing down governments
Illegal acts of protectionism.
Immoral act of licentious
Stealing from other countries.

I could go on… don't make me.

USA claims they are democratic, they aren't
They say they have liberty, they don't.
They say there is justice, well. OJ simpson proved you wrong.

"There are still enough of us around to see that we remain one country, undivided, with liberty and justice for all!"

A slightly different opinion.

"An ugly, cowardly war visited on the long-suffering people of Iraq who were already in dire circumstances from two previous wars and 12 years of sanctions."
